Savannah Squares Field Trip

 
Through the Lowcountry Home School Association Savannah Group we participated in a visit to the Massey Heritage Center. So Cool!!!
 
 
An Intelligent Grid  Examine Savannah’s unique city plan come to life with three interactive laser shows on a one-of-a-kind three dimensional model of the city’s Historic Landmark.

Classically Inspired
Exhibit demonstrates the classical architectural elements present in Savannah buildings.

Heritage Classroom
Go back in time in this authentic replica of a classroom from the 1800s.
 
We were then led on a tour of Calhoun Square, Chatham Square, Pulaski Square, Madison and Monteray Square by John Brennan, a Heritage Specialist.

No trip to Savannah is complete without a mosey through Forsythe Park and I was THRILLED to see the fountain up and running! In the past it has been empty for reconstruction, painting, rehab, etc. Not this time woohooo!!!
