This is why we moved here...

In the past week I have had so many "Wow this is my life!" moments and I can not begin to tell you how blessed I feel! We were able to help Great Grammy celebrate her birthday (79!) and spend the afternoon on the May River sandbar and play at the beach on Hilton Head and gather in the backyard after dinner together on a HUGE new table that can fit ALL of us... it is SO awesome to be making lifelong memories on a daily basis.

Beth stopped by on her way to North Carolina. It was a quick visit but fun to see a familiar face in our new town.

The big day came and went and I can't remember much... it is all a blur. I just remember early in the day thinking "There is NO WAY we are going to fit all of this in the truck." I was right, since we ended up "donating" a lot of stuff at the last minute and what was left over ended up on our own personal land fill on the front lawn. I had some peace knowing that most of the pile would be picked over by curb mart shoppers and it did not ALL end up as garbage.
